Dates to keep in mind when filing taxes in Canada
If you are a Canadian resident and need to file your taxes, here are some important dates to keep in mind:
April 30: This is the deadline for most Canadians to file their income tax and benefit returns. Any taxes owed are also due on this day.
June 15: This is the filing deadline for self-employed individuals and their spouses or common-law partners. However, any taxes owed are still due on April 30.
February 28: This is the deadline to file your T4A slips for pensions, annuities, and other income, as well as your T5 slips for investment income.
